Remember when we did a post on “The List?” You know, the encyclopedic tome of media outlets, celebrities and other folk who the ninnies can’t stand because they deign to compliment Kristen? Well, Ann Curry, step on up.
Seems her reference to Rob’s “beautiful girlfriend” caused quite the little stir in ninnieland.
Now, we’ll admit to being a huge fan of Ms. Curry’s. HUGE. We think she’s one of the classiest gals in broadcast television (Diane Sawyer is our favorite). But we’re also ready to admit that Ann is much better at general human interest or world news coverage than she is in entertainment reporting.
That being said, the ninnies are certain, CERTAIN, that Ms. Curry got a big ‘ole fat Summit paycheck to make her end-of-interview comment about Rob’s “beautiful girlfriend.”
We thought she handled the moment with great aplomb, and while it was a bit awkward and rushed (likely due to some producer giving her the “wrap it up” signal off-camera), it’s obvious to us, and to everyone who has even an iota of common sense, that the proverbial cat is out of the bag.
So, while we had a few moments to while away the time before doing such important household tasks as dusting our Robert Pattinson commemorative plate collection, or vacuuming our hand-loomed Edward Cullen rug (we are all desperate housewives, afterall – at least according to the ninnies), we thought we’d put together a quick compendium of people and media outlets that are ninny-approved, and compare it to the list that gets their porcine tails all twisted and bent out of shape.

We’re certain, too, as we get closer and closer to On the Road’s release and Snow White and the Huntsman’s release and end of filming, that more complimentary words are to come.
Of course, according to the nonnies, all of these people are on the Summit dole, or are being paid by Kristen’s management group to “tow the line,” and say only nice things, because there is no way, NO WAY, according to the ninnies (who, as we know are expert on all things movie production), that Kristen could be viewed as anything other than the bitch-faced harpy they make her out to be. Funny, really, seeing as so many ninnies are bitch-faced harpies themselves. Guess it takes one to know one.
So, you see, BWAN friends, all it takes is a quick look at “The List,” and we’re pretty certain we can predict whose company you’d rather keep; and as always, who is the more sane and reasonable among them.

The second list compared to the first, was way too long I was running out of breath.
ReplyDeleteMarcus, Tom are on their list sometimes of approval, when they can use them to say Kristen's not with Rob but with one of them. Christ, the Brit Pack gets around don't they? They share each other's girlfriends and crushes. Joking.
Sometimes they approve of Rob too, but then other times if he's the one going in for a kiss or has confirmed something, they refuse to watch his movies, so then they disapprove of him.
I'm sure if all those people, or magazine companies each now slate Kristen, they'll approve. But that's not going to happen.
There are also lots of Rob haters out there making shitty comments about his movies,costars etc. love how you just easly ignored them. Maybe I should send you to their names & comments so you can share here? I doubted it though.

Also you and nonstens are really doing a good job. So many people turning against Rob in this fandom. Robsten fandom do not care about his movies,career anymore because they're judging him based on that little nasty part of his fans actions.

@xcecilia. We are avid defenders of BOTH Robert & Kristen. We've defended Robert on more than one occasion for being profiled as a Media-Whore with no integrity. Feel free to send us the Rob hate. We'll gladly address that ANY day.

xcecilia How does this blog in particular hurt Rob? It doesn't. It talks about the hate Kristen gets, from people who claim to be his fans. But if you go through posts from the past two weeks you'll find one for sure saying that these aren't fans of Rob, though yes they claim to be.
ReplyDeleteI mean would you call a fan of Rob someone who disrespects him? So potentially not only is it calling out haters of Kristen, it's calling out those people who disrespect and sometimes hate Rob. And they do disrespect him through hating someone he clearly cares about, painting him as a man whore, which I observed was the reason in why there were Caitlin/Rob tabloid stories. The nonstens blinded by rejection of Kristen and Rob being the obvious couple, thought about pairing him with Caitlin spreading that they were out having drinks, making out etc. The tabloids picked on this.
The haters spread the rumours, the naive people believe them, and the idiots accept them. Haters (nonstens), naive people (more nonstens and some fans of R/K too young enough to understand what it takes for adults to have a relationship and work commitments), and the idiots (tabloids/online gossip sites).
Not only do they disrespect Rob. But they hate him. For example I remember seeing tweets by them when they reacted to Rob going in for a kiss with Kristen after the NY WFE premiere. They immediately said they weren't going to pay for a ticket to see his film just because of his guest choice, and girlfriend choice.

Maybe instead of typing a quote up, you should share the link as to where these haters of Rob are? I'm sure I saw some people on twitter talking to BWAN mentioning Nikki hate. Someone complained and said how they're never talking about the hate Nikki receives. When asked for links, the user became less interested in sharing: if there was anything to share.
It's much better to share a link when you've got a complaint as to BWAN not talking about Rob or other hate. But if you can't do that. BWAN can't very well expose the Rob haters that you want exposed. Just saying.
And I'm not trying to be rude. I agree that's a ridiculous thing to say from a "fan".

BWAN can't do anything when they're not following those people closely. I'm sure they're more tuned into what the Nonsten's say, as they're so vocal and it's always the same group. Make BWAN aware WHERE that hate is by giving them links.
Robert doesn't have a huge army to defend him? Shame! That's Summit's fault, for sure. They should pay people to speak well and defend him, like they do with Kristen.

Amusing, but you need to stop pretending like you don't care what Lainey says. You do, as do the rest of the fandom. Why say you never read her and then comment on her stories? All fans do that , shippers and haters. Just be honest..
